Project Overview
This steel structure had thick layers of lead paint that needed to be safely removed. The challenge of working on such an iconic and vital piece of infrastructure required the highest standards of safety and containment.
Peel Away 1 was able to remove and fully contain all the waste safely and removed while the bridge was fully operational. This non-disruptive approach was critical to maintaining the bridge's daily traffic flow.
The successful completion of this project ensured the safe removal of hazardous lead paint while allowing this vital transportation link to remain fully functional throughout the entire process.
